About CSSA
CSSA was established by education leaders in post-secondary education as well as business leaders and entrepreneurs. They have led and participated in certification and accreditation processes of universities in the United States and the Middle East and their well-deserved reputation uniquely qualifies them to lead the development of a national and international program for STEM/STEAM competency outcomes and job market requirements.
Currently, the CSSA is activity engaged with the 100kin10 network of allies, committed to the advancement of STEM teacher competencies and teacher outcomes, to facilitate the creation of standards for Licensure, Accreditation and Certification.
CSSA is currently in the process of establishing a STEM Academy in Dubai exclusively for providing learning lab support for teacher training and negotiating with partners to provide ongoing Continuing STEM Teacher Education Programs under standards established by the CSSA STEM Academy and UMass College of Education
“We have learned that if we can create certification standards recognized by the key thought-leaders and community-leaders we will thereby advance our ability to achieve our mission.”
Our aim is to build and continually assess a comprehensive set of STEM standards directed toward establishing comprehensive and effective standards inclusive of socio and multi-cultural positive learning methods and resources.
STEM Scouts Programs
CSSA currently provides STEM Scouts Programs for two charters in STEM Academy labs for the Boy Scouts. One in Sterling, Virginia and another in Irvine, California; both under the auspices of the STEM Academy that was developed for accrediting and certifying these programs.
Our program standards and outcomes will incorporate problem-solving methods and learning strategies that tap the rich potential of cultural differences, including gender, race/ethnicity, nationality, language, disability, income, and sexual orientation.
